Hey, I'm Lucas Maia, and I have been working in tech since 2020. Before I started coding, I grinded my way up as a professional poker player to 4th in the online world rankings in 2018, outsmarting opponents in multi-tabling tournaments.

That same systems-thinking mindset and drive to find every possible edge is what pulled me into the startup world. I joined an early-stage company as a Software Engineer and before long, I found myself completely hooked on building the product.

After 6 years deeply immersed in AI-assisted engineering, I’m now fully focused on agentic engineering, using multi-agent systems with advanced context engineering to preserve long-term context, and significantly increase team productivity. Beyond my tech stack and shipping track record, I bring strong communication skills and a practical AI-assisted approach that delivers a great balance between velocity and clean architecture.
